Missing M.2 spacer

Hello,

I find myself in a bit of a pickle. I recently bought a second M.2 SSD but while my motherboard (ASRock x370 Taichi) has a second slot, this slot is missing a spacer.

As you can see, not only is it missing a spacer but also the copper-colored nuts which are present in slot 1. The board did come with a second m.2 screw, for whatever good that does me.

According to the Manual, both slots should be equipped with the same nuts & spacer.

The board is already over 2 years old, so I don’t know if there is any use in trying to contact ASRock support, so does anyone here have any advice on how to work around this issue?

They can’t do more than say “no”, contact them.

Go to a local computer store or something and ask them if they can help. Here every store have it’s own repair shop and they usually have a lot of spare parts, stuff like that they don’t even charge for.
You can try if nothing else…

Worst case there is kits with a number of standoffs and screws for fairly cheap. Assuming you are in the US.
