Hello logan, and everyone on the Team also the Members of TekSyndicate...
Well i've been experiencing this problem for the first time i've installed my legitimate Windows 7 Professional.
(Used to Have Ultimate but it was Pirated version or Cracked) anyways.. i used to have Adobe Programs two of them The Adobe After Effects & Photoshop CS5. i've recently Installed Xsplit for Livestreaming in Twitch for my Games.. and the Xsplit is not actually a Legitimate Licence copy. it was Cracked.. after installing that program i've just noticed my Taskbar's Photoshop & Adobe After Effects Program Shortcut Icon are gone. it just showed me an Interrupted data's icon.. so i open the start menu searched the Adobe programs i didn't find none..
(Additional Info) after installing the Crack of Xsplit my Anti-Virus thought that was a Virus so the first time it deleted the .exe file and after that i've deactivated my anti-virus and rerunned the process after that everything worked fine. but one thing i really got frustrated of is the missing adobe files it just disappeared on me... (like it got stolen) or deleted off my desktop please reply this for helping me out...
Thanks in advance.
you probably downloaded a virus.
or a RAT and who ever is in control might be messing with you, or recording your passwords ect... hopefully they dont jack all the gear in whatever game you are playing.
Well you will mess with illegal files :D, first things first make sure your machine is clean.
I recommend using Open Broadcaster instead of xsplit as OBS is free to use. As regards the adobe products you probably have to reinstall them or run a registry cleaner.
If an anti virus says its bad it's usually best to avoid it if you dont trust the source, in this case it seems you may of been to eager to "crack" a peice of software and you got burned, pitty cos OBS does the same job but for free :P
(also suspect that asking for help with an issue caused by illegal activity shouldnt be an inbox question as Tek Syndicate do not endorse piracy :P)
