I was watching L1’s video on the Beelink GTR7.
I have been considering doing a mini cluster of Intel NUC’s with proxmox and ceph to host all our small VM’s. Things like hosted PBX’s, Unifi controllers, shared web hosting.
Currently its just hosted on a Vmware host with external NFS storage. no redundancy, only the ability to boot up the disks on another host.
With the 2x 2.5Gbit networking, it alleviates the storage network bottleneck of a NUC somewhat. We will likely limit via VLAN the Ceph storage network onto 2x 2GBit on each LAN and leave 2x500mbit for managment and public IPs.
I was wondering if you can swap out the wifi card on a Beelink GTR7 for a 2230 SSD. That way I can have my boot OS on there, and have 2x 2280 SSDs for Ceph on a 3 node cluster.
