Mini-ITX build (first build)

so I have been looking over this hardware, and i have the money to buy it now:

OCZ ZT Series 650W

Kingston HyperX Beast 8 GB Kit (2x4 GB) 1866MHz

Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced

AMD Quad Core A10-Series APU for Desktops A10-6800K

WD Green 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive

MSI AMD Radeon HD 7870, 2GB

Gigabyte FM2 A85X

Noctua NH-L12 CPU Cooler

FiiO E7 USB DAC

I will keep this short and to the point because I am fairly confident with this hardware (However any improvements are more than welcome! you guys know way more than I do) The primary purpose for this build is Gaming, (battlefield 3, and 4 when its released more than anything) with a little bit of FL Studio (hence the Fiio E7) My primary concern is the clearance of the ram, and GPU with the Noctua cooler, if anyone has used this board with this Noctua cooler it would be immensely helpful, if not that cooler a Cooler Master GeminII M4 would fit the build as far as I know. I am famillar with hardware (I do IT work at school) but this will be my first ground up build. I know you guys love help me post so please don't eat me alive ;)

Thank you in advance for the help!!!

Try the Fractal Design Node 304 case instead. The space above the CPU on the case you picked is really cramped and won't fit the cooler you picked. While the Node 304 could fit many normal sized tower coolers. The Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced is cheap, but that's about what's good about it too in my mind.

yep, Node 304 for that kind of air cooler.

I'm not tring to be difficult.... but i really don't like fractal cases due to the aesthetic, and i would like to stay in that price range. do you know of a different case or cooler? i could always use a different cooler.

Do you know of any other case? preferably in the $50 range

Unfortunately, no.  When I bought my Node 304, it was 55 due to a promotion.

how about this cooler? it appears to fit, is 100 watts enough cooling for the apu?

Any low-profile cooler should do.
