I've heard that many Mini ITX boards have poor power delivery. I'm thinking about getting a mini itx board while upgrading to zen at the beginning of march, and with all the hardware thats going to be released at the same time, and the lack luster appeal of mini itx, it seems like finding reviews for every option is going to be difficult , so i'm just curious if there is something in the specs that i should be looking out for that could be indicative for either poor or good power delivery.
For the new zen stuff almost impossible to say right now. Gotta wait for them to come out first, then usually it is not easy to find good reviews that cover then power design. It will be wait and see probably be a month or so after they are out before you get good information.
As anecdotal info from the reviews that do not cover power regulation, generally better overclockers have better power design, heat maps will tell you how hot it is getting and reviewers are starting to do that, and of course if they catch fire then it is not good.
I cannot really say much about zen boards and the current vrm implementations.
Because those boards are not out yet.
Atleast i have not seen any mini itx am4 board yet.
