Minecraft White-Flashing

Hey, I need help with my Minecraft game running on my netbook (Intel Atom 1.6GHZ/1GB RAM/Integrated Graphics.) I have 700MB of RAM allocated and Minecraft runs perfectly fine... until i start to left-clicking to break blocks or kill enemies. When i do click, 2 in 3 times the game will freeze with a white background for a second or two and at the top of the window (in windowed mode) it will say Minecraft (Not Responding). Sometimes when this happens and the game resumes the player will start levitating in the direction of where the mouse is pointed which is annoying.

Also i have the latest Java 8 installed and I've tried older drivers as there were no newer ones.

Please help me as this is ruining my game play.

Thanks in advance

Could you tell what Intel Atom specifically?
You can check by pressing the Windows Key + PauseBreak key or just go to the control panel and system and security then system.
You are probably going to have to turn down all the settings to display 4 chunks and reduce particles to minimum or none.
It may just be that the game is too much for the processor to handle the calculations of breaking blocks.

Try installing Optifine that normal Minecraft may be too much for your notebook and Optifine will alleviate some of that strain
