Baffling inovation.

The technology was already there. sb just had to put it all together
I've been following this very closely for a while. I jokingly tell my friends that when I'm 40 (currently 20) that I'll cut off my limbs for bionic ones, it's possible to be sooner than I thought.
This is the future of bionics...unfortunately we're still a way off in getting this technology affordable. The chief scientist in the video mentions that the hand alone costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, not to mention the cost of 12-13 surgeries for Melissa's arm and to get the targeted reenervation part right (special knowledge and team). We're probably looking at 10-20 years for this prostetic and surgery to become common-place (widespread).
