Mid range first build questions

so ive been perusing the forums looking for ides on a budget build (cause im totally origional like that) theres no real difinitive budget (but Id like to keep it in the 700 - 800 range [which ive already broken]) Its mostly just for gaming and i hope to leave room to upgrade in the future.  I got most of this build from a similar forum post but changed a few things mostly the case though.  this is my first time building my own computer so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

So I have a few real questions about the build...

1. Ive had cooling issues before is that cooling fan enough or should i get somthing else/more (I assume that the case comes with built in fans but I dont know if i need more)

2. I plan on upgrading at least to add a SSD, a bit more RAM if possible, and a BlueRay burner. is that power supply going to be enough or will i need to upgrade that as well

You can use the power supply calculator to find what PSU you need:

If you have the money I would recommend getting an SSD right away. It really makes a huge difference in every day use.

ya i'd recommend upgrading to a power supply with more wattage. 600 watts for a singe gpu or 750 watts for multiple gpus. And maybe go with a 2500k if u want to do some serious overclocking. Other than that take a look at this case, its a little cheaper and has a lot of features.

wow sorry i diddnt reply right away i had assumed this thread dead. well it says i have well over enough powe in that power supply but a few things have changed since i made this. I switched over to a radeon 7950 GPU.  at the moment the calculator says that i have above the recomended  (even with the SSD in) so i think im going to stick with that for the moment and worry about upgrading when i descide to upgrade the computer.

Im glad you brought up the SSD thing though because im willing to wait an extra week to buy the SSD and install it before building the rig. IF its worth it. but I dont know ive never had two drives before what exactly would an SSD do for this build?

well i checked th power supply calculator and its recomended is 427 watts even with the extra GPU it doesent go up over 500 watts. if you still think that i need a bigger power supply ill gladly go for one but I would just need a reason.

as for the 2500k I dont plan on overclocking in the near future. I probably may eventually but currently Im just gonna sit back and do some gaming on it and generally just enjoy having a computer i built myself (after waiting so long to get both the funds and access to the knowledge)

and with the case I already have the Z11 so price isnt really and issue but thanks anyway

You need a bigger power supply. Your power supply is only 430w, and it said you needed at least 427. However you always give yourself at least 100 extra watt headroom. Especially since you said with an extra GPU it would be more. I would suggest getting a 550w minimum, 600w preferred.

Also you can always check amazon.com for parts, they tend to have some slightly lower prices

so ive updated the build a bit and the name of the post to match the new build a bit more
