Microsoft Natural Keyboard Availability

Did MS stop making these devices as I can only find a couple of $300+ devices available now.

I’m looking to replace (2)Two of these older, Model 4000 v1 devices as some keys are wearing out and many of them no longer have any printing as they have been rubbed off completely.

I do see that Amazon has some generic knockoffs/look-a-likes from a brand named Perixx.

Anybody have any ideas on this one >

If you are open to other brands:

I have the Freestyle RGB, and it is very comfortable for extended typing tasks.

They make okay-ish office mice, so maybe their keyboards are okay too?

I’ve had the Perixx 512 (wired split) for a couple years, and while I’ve never used a Microsoft Natural keyboard, this one feels just fine, probably worth trying out in your circumstances. Perixx have been around for a while, too, fwiw - German brand that does a lot of specialist/accessible accessories that don’t cost crazy money.

Thanks for the replies, I may just try one of the Perixx units out and see.

Just seems strange that MS decided to stop making this line of KB’s :frowning:

Maybe I’m just dumb, but it looks like Microsoft Natural had the same layout as the current Microsoft Surface Ergonomic?

Maybe, I will look into that one instead and see what is available.

Found this as a possible sub for my older Natural KB

I purchased one of the Perixx KB’s but it isn’t layed out quite the way I want, the spacing is to compact and not spaced out enough and things like the CAPS lock key is too small along with other keys being too small in size.

Probably my fat ass fingers and thumbs.

Talk about a rare opinion! :grinning:
