Micro ATX case less than 13 inches deep, decent looking, and less than $75 USD?

Depth being the distance between the side of the case that has the rear I/O and the side of the case opposite of that.

The location the case needs to be in is only 13 inches deep, but the width and height don't matter as much. The only requirements other than depth are that it must look decent enough to be out in plain view, it must be $75 USD or less shipped, it must have at least a headphone jack, and a 5.25" or a Slimline optical bay.

I've spent the last hour and a half looking for one, but I can't find any for whatever reason.

alright, so its a little over 13 inches and a little more than 75 shipped, but i personally think its a good looking case and thats the BitFenix Prodigy M. midnight black of course.

personally the prodigy or phenom win over the collusus.

I saw those, but they're too big. The case needs to be pretty much exactly 13 inches deep or less :(

Put the case sideways?

this one is about double the price limit, but its pretty much the only case i could really find that was mATX and under 13 inches deep.

You are searching for a white whale.

But with a dremel tool and some zip ties this could be the case of your dreams!

no optical bay, which apparently (for whatever reason) OP says is required.

i can vouch for this case. i personally own it. and its aesthetically pleasing. and airflow is awesome. can fit absurd length gpus and has a very small footprint.

That is why I mentioned the dremel and zip ties and white whale

it is also over budget.

I like how you did away with those funky fan brackets.

i tried to be honest. they actually didn't fit. well the GPU Fan bracket fit i removed the 2 80mm Noctua Fans. but the CPU Bracket that just didn't fit at all with that massive nocuta heatsink.

So, turns out my parents (who the case is for) have an external optical drive. Guess the case doesn't need one anymore!

As for why they need an optical drive, well, my mother just found out about flash drives two weeks ago (no mom, they aren't a one use item like a CD).

Now just to see if they make a USB cable that is long enough that has a mini B on one side and two type A's on the other.

Not really going to work, the width is slightly limited as well, not to mention that three sides of the case will always be visible.

bro no offense but your mom could really use a technology 101 course pronto! also, why does it have to be 13 inches deep???

That's as good as I could do, and it's still over budget. It is, however, a very respectably small size.
