BTW for any suggestions I currently use an Alura Killing the soul it's okay but I want more comfort and customization. I play FPS games primarily and am converting from console want some easier to reach grenades, weapon swaps, ptt, visor etc, (nade/special on F&B buttons wheel up melee, down swap, center game specific special...)
Its amazingly solid construct makes it feel like it will last for years (and that means a high resell value if you want to upgrade). The left and right buttons are really light to press. Just resting the finger might actuate them. This I find is a good thing, but may be seen as a bad thing.
The side buttons are easy to press, but there are two buttons that are a little out of the way -- still press-able, but require some extra thought and time.
Profile management is easy. I'm using this mouse mainly for FPS and the side buttons are really nice, I use three of them mainly (for crouching, then class function and knifing).
I actually use the 8200 dpi in windows, but only 4100 dpi in game.
I don't get why you are ready to spend so much money on mice that are inferior to way cheaper ones.
Zowie (AM, FK, EC), Logitech G400(s) and Razer Deathadder are pretty much all proper mice that currently exist. If you see a gaming mouse with a laser sensor or even worse, a wireless one, disregard it immediately.
Thank you I currently only run around 1600dpi mouse I have maxes at 2k I think... But sounds nice it is my preferred choice so far as well the 7 seems nice but I dunno if it'll be comfortable some say it is as others argue it's not... I know to really know I'd just have to put them in my hand and I think a larger mouse will be nice but erhm... I suppose I will pick up the m95 to compliment my k90 unless someone else shines some light in another direction.
All laser sensors have random acceleration. It's unnoticeable on some mice and horrible on others, but the point is that there's no reason to buy a laser mouse in the first place. On top of that, laser sensors are picky about surfaces, they are vulnerable to dust and they generally have higher lift-off distance compared to optical ones.
Don't take this wrong not trying to nitpick or argue but larger than my current Aura: KTS not largest :P but good to know incase I want to test extremes seeings that I think that mouse is one best-buy *cough yuck* carries
1. You have a keyboard. If you are a gamer, you should be able to easily press any key on the left side of the keyboard without removing two fingers from WASD. Two side buttons is enough, not that you can have more of them conveniently placed.
2. All of those have comfortable shape.
3. Why would you need those?
4. Mouse should be as light as possible. Inertia caused by excess weight reduces accuracy.
I've also had plenty of people refer me towards the G600 and razer variants I am just unsure about the form factor believe the m95 and mmo7 seem more practical than a full extra blocky number pad but maybe totally wrong...
