Has anyone gotten their mi25 to work on any recent kernel? lspci does show it in the list, but I keep getting
probe with driver amdgpu failed with error -12
I can’t find much more info on the issue, but the kernel driver does load.

You need specific kernels to load the proprietary driver last I checked
AMD gained a reputation for support in 2013 and then proceeded to abandon it
That’s so weird, it actually loaded and was usable on 6.13.5-zen1 once. I rebooted and poof- the driver refused to load ever again. I guess I’ll build some kernels and check if any of them bind the drivers properly.
Well nevermind, I have reason to believe my card is dying/dead.
see yall on the other side of the black hole I just made
Looks like common driver non-sense.
Do you have a fake mi50 (Chinese version of VII converted to mi50) or the actual one? As far as I could find, mi50 has a vBIOS signature verification and wont work with pretty much anything but mi50 firmware. Would you be able to share firmware you’ve used for the conversion to pro VII and ppTables for your mi50? Thank you!
