Okay so I bought Metro Last light yesterday because it seemed like an awesome game(and is). The trouble is, my PC has huge trouble playing it. I have a Nvidia gtx 660, AMD 6800k quad core overclocked to 4.3GHz with water cooling, 8GB of RAM, windows 7 64 bit.
I have played around with all the graphics settings, enabled physx, disabled it. I've run the game at 720p at low settings and 1080p maxed out, it does not make a difference in my frame rate! It just doesn't make sense to me. I usually get about 6-10fps in a battle.
Now the weirdest part about this is I have bee monitoring my systems temps. using corsair link. And I've felt the air coming out of my PC, and it's not hot at all! The game doesn't seem to be stressing my PC, it just runs awfully. I know my PC can handle intense games, I can max out far cry 3 at 1080p, so I figured I could at least play this game on lower settings.
Any help is appreciated, I just really want to play this game.
