gore metal has no message, usually, it's just about shock and that sort of stuff... if it is anti-society then it's cool.
black metal, pagan metal... folk metal... and even most regular death metal usually has a good message.
Yeah. Usually if it's got a gorey album cover, it tells ya its gonna suck. I mean, I like artistic gore, but gore for the sake of gore is F@1L to me.
