That in flames song.... it's an improvement over the last album it had some really good guitar work in it I disliked how it was broken up so much though... it's so close to being there it's painful IMO. Will listen to the rest of the album, maybe it will have 1 or 2 good songs.

As for DT.... kind of a step in the wrong direction I think... melody was placed 100% on electronic effects and the guitars were just sorta there. Kind of bummed hopes aren't very high for the rest of the album.

Hmm. Meh. Will go through the list more thoroughly in the morning and see if there is anything good.

Paracletus was my introduction to them... Might as well be yours.

Bölzer and Deathspell Omega for me. Not sure when Urfaust is going to release their album, but so far that's november for me. I'm sure I'll be missing a couple records here and there from the list but meh.

I'll post more stuff if I find something cool.

edit Nevermind, I'm posting some stuff.

Oathbreaker - Rheia: (kind of Blackgaze now, they used to play a blend of Post-Hardcore/Crust Punk with Black Metal influences). To be honest they sound way too much like a copy of Deafheaven nowadays, and it's sad, their previous album is a fucking jam.

White Medal - Lyke Wake: Punk Black Metal. It's just TOO GOOD: https://legion-blotan.bandcamp.com/album/lyke-wake

Earth and Pillars - Pillars I: Atmospheric Black Metal ala Paysage d'Hiver, this time you can actually hear all the instruments (lol). If you like Darkspace/Paysage this will be your jam https://avantgardemusic.bandcamp.com/album/pillars-i

Battle Dagorath - I - Dark Dragons of the Cosmos: Again, more Atmo BM with some dissonant riffing going on.
https://avantgardemusic.bandcamp.com/album/i-dark-dragons-of-the-cosmos

Urzeit - Anmoshka: Punk/Black Metal from the mighty label Vrasubatlat. Seriously, don't sleep on ANYTHING that comes from that label, is just fucking insane
https://urzeit.bandcamp.com/

Auroch - Mute Books: Do you like Cryptopsy? Gorguts? You'll dig Auroch. The album is not out yet but will be at the end of the month
https://profoundlorerecords.bandcamp.com/album/mute-books

Martröd - Transmutation of Wounds: One of my sonic wet dreams is true (or trve hehehe). A Black Metal super group featuring Wrest of Leviathan, numerous musicians of the godly Icelandic and France Black Metal scene.
https://martrod.bandcamp.com/

Death Fetishist - Clandestine Sacrament: Huge sounding Atmospheric Black Metal featuring again a member of the Icelandic Black Metal band Misthyrming between others. https://dmp666.bandcamp.com/album/clandestine-sacrament

Krypts - Remnants of Expansion: Doom/Black Metal. Mean as fuck. https://darkdescentrecords.bandcamp.com/album/remnants-of-expansion

Kosmokrator - First Step Towards Supremacy: Naughty and filthy OSDM with some hints of Black Metal here and there.
https://kosmokrator-vanrecords.bandcamp.com/

Gespenst - Forfald: More Black Metal! From Denmark. Sounds nice. UGH
https://hellthrasherproductions.bandcamp.com/album/forfald

Anaal Nathrahk - The Whole of the Law: This legendary duo from England is back! And darker. Even more darker. Get pumped.
https://anaalnathrakh.bandcamp.com/

Suma - The Order of Things: Meanest Doom Metal record of the year with Mizmor so far.

I'll try to post more things as I go (or at least as I remember to do so haha)

The new DT album even though I don't listen to their music as much as I used to.

Probably will play through the new Metallica album once...or twice. I don't expect to be something special.

Diabvlvs in Mvsica is always welcome.

Metallica, Wardruna and seeing amon amarth

Thanks for the tag :D

Not too much this round for me :D

I may check out the new Deathspell Omega and Vader

i was thinking they were leaning on the keyboard a bit hard, but i like shit like that so i didn't mind it.

Nothing, i don't follow band news or anything so i have no idea what's on the horizon.
I did read bill bumgardner is no longer, a friend who also likes indian and lord mantis sent me the article this week.

Also i saw someone mentioning Oathbreaker. I've always liked them, they are ghent based and friends of friends (kapitan korsakov, raketkanon, amen ra).
Eros anteros is still an amazing record (and my favourite by them, but i will check the new record).
Will be attending the release in ghent. I believe there was another 'release gig' in ghent before it, but it's not public.

Definitely looking forward to the new Sirenia record. Can never go wrong with symphonic metal.

Makes me sad that Ailyn is no longer apart of the band.
