No problem. I just picked the game up on Steam and will be streaming my first time playthrough in about 10 minutes or so. http://www.twitch.tv/hinkelcl if you would like to watch and hang out with me.
Just my opinion It deserves a demo price, seriously this is just a tste of Phantom Pain. If this gets to like $5 I'll buy it. Can't believe very first price was $40, ridiculous.
So I only got to play for a little bit last night, but the game not only looks amazing, but plays wonderfully. With an i7-4770k and a GTX770 i was able to fully max out all graphics and got a solid 60fps @ 1080p. It was so smooth in fact, I never noticed it ever dipping below 57 or 58 FPS. The game seems extremely well optimized for PC, and is one of the best ports I've seen in a long while. If you like Metal Gear series I highly recommend.
Awesome that japanese studios are finally bringing good ports to PC. That said, I won't be buying ground zeroes, I'm not paying 20€ for a demo. If the full game will be this well optimized and look good then that'll be amazing, another reason NOT to buy a PS4. Now if we could please get FF15 and KH3 on PC that would be great.
I'm not sure why all the prices you guys are quoting are so high. here is the link to the steam page. Yes it's normally $19.99 US but right now it's 33% off, so only $13.99 us. http://store.steampowered.com/app/311340/
I was really looking forward to playing Ground Zeroes, although at the same time, i was a bit worried i might not be able to play at Maximum settings with my current computer (Specs and Details in my Profile), however....when i went to play, i did what i normally do for any game i run at 1080p. Take everything up to Maximum, and keep the Anti-aliasing disabled, yes i prefer responsiveness, and also keep the game V-Sync disabled as I've found that the global setting in my GPU Driver can play havoc with in game V-sync. Lastly, i did find that a little program called "ForceFix" also helped with the frame rate/refresh rate cap, as Konami seemed to do the same in Metal Gear Rising.
I'm really pleased how well my seemingly old gaming rig managed to play this game :)
