Memory Only Runs in Single-Channel Mode

I wasn't sure what topic to list this under, but I thought "Motherboards" would be the most appropriate.

My "XP Rig" Is powered by a single-core Athlon64 3200+ on an AsRock K8NF6G-VSTA motherboard.  For the most part, it has been a good board, but I have one problem.  At least according to Speccy, the memory is running in single-channel mode.  I had an identical pair of Super Talent 1GB PC3200 memory.  I believe it was intended as a kit.  I replaced that memory with a 2GB kit (2x1GB) of Kingston HyperX PC3200 memory.  So, far, it still says it's running in single-channel.

A friend of mine has a machine that is running in dual-channel, even though he has mis-matched memory.  IS there anything I can do to make it work in dual-channel?  I know it is supposed to.  I have flashed the BIOS and that did nothing for me.

Windows XP loads quickly, but I'm certain that if I had more memory bandwidth, I would get better in-game performance.

Are you sure your board supports dual channel memory?

That is a single channel board dude

You know, you might be right.  I can't imagine why a board with a CPU with a 1GHz FSB would only run memory in single-channel mode, unless it was PC2 6400 or maybe PC2 8500.  I don't see the words "Dual Channel", now that you said something.  I thought I read somewhere that it was.

Well, I guess it's time for a new mobo.
