Memory issues with Display Port on Windows 10

Running into an issue with my setup. Once in a great while when i switch from my Workstation to my laptop on it’s USB C Thunderbolt Dock. The laptop will then Blue Screen with a Memory Management Error.

Has anyone seen Windows 10 Bork itself over 4k of Resolution being added at a time or do i need to start checking my RAM for damage?

I had a similar issue in Linux. It didn’t crash, but the driver would and the dock would get re-enumerated (resetting everything connected to the dock). I ended up replacing the dock and didn’t have any more trouble.

I wonder about USB C docks, I know it PCIe and Thunderbolt have issues, but it just seems like a half baked idea.
