You should check out Thy Art Is Murder. They are HEAVY!

I can't remember if I contributed, or what I put. Forgive me if these are repeated:

You've got a good list there. I'd imagine I probably posted Scar Symmetry. I'll add more as I remember them.
They play more deathcore than melodic death metal, but I will check them out anyway

Maybe these will give you a look :)
These sort of range from Melodic Death Metal to Melodic Black Metal but here are some of my favorites
Eternal Tears of Sorrow - Red Dawn Rising

Chthonic - 49 Theurgy Chains
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66YNWi_nDL0
God Dethroned - No Survivors
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rVRk5RajwI
Stormlord - Dance of Hecate

DIssection - Where Dead Angels Lie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q78Teqr2T6E
Swordmaster - Sulphur Skelethrones (also its kinda of mind boggling but this band broke up and is now the industrial metal act Deathstars)

Meadows End
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33GHEos_ayo
Holy tits, Scar Symmetry and Insomnium.. How have I not heard this before?!?!
Ok, before you judge me with this particular band I implore you to listen to it to the end, because the end is the absolute best https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eTL7J7uKSI

To be honest this is probably the ONLY metalcore band I Actually Liked. i really liked this album and their debut album.
You even liked the more emo styled debut one? :o not many metal heads say that! haha. I personally loved it too
Chthonic - 49 Theurgy Chains is awesome. Never knew about these guys, thanks.

The list is growing, but I still need more melo-death. please reply!
Did you get the previous list before it was closed?
I had to re-write the bands I listen to now on this one.
I did not get the list you gave me on the one that was closed, too late to look for it now, because I deleted the one that was closed.
Can you remind me what you recommended if you had recommended anything?
I agree with this, although I would definitely recommend skipping anything off of Playground or Sense of Purpose and going straight for Colony and Jester Race. Two absolutely essential Gothenburg albums.
Vulcanus from Fear My Thoughts is a really good melodic death album.

The Absence

Scar Symmetry (Cristian Alvestam era)

Torchbearer

Also, as a rule, listen to anything Christian Alvestam is a part of.
