Wondering if local people would be interested in meeting up, having a few beers, chatting about tech, and just getting to know new people.
Currently in Fargo ND, lets see if there is anyone else in this frozen place.

I was living in Dickinson between summer of 2013 and fall of 2014 but moved back to the west coast and up to Oregon for school. Would have loved to met up for a couple beers and good conversation.
Dickinson is a fun place, I was living there for a few months for work in 2014. Traffic on the main street was interesting haha. Well let me know if you end up back in Fargo and we'll grab a few beers.
Spent time in Dickenson and Williston as well, small world.
Traffic when I was there got pretty crazy at times, for the most part I ended up working a 3rd shift at Walmart as an inventory management minion, wandering with a purpose. Luckily, I didn't have to muck around with traffic during the day. Now that I have a decent vehicle, i'd definitely love to go back and explore that area in more detail. Next time i'm up there i'll hit you up for a beer or two.
I was somewhat surprised while up there to find out that some people from my home town had moved up and that others were already living there. At the time I guess the oil boom really was quite attractive to so many people with the provided job opportunities, and chance to start anew. It really is crazy just how much of a small world this is, I've seen people whom I went to school with all over the pacific north west on completely random and unexpected times.
Yeah, Walmart was interesting. I remember the shelves being out of bread and the fire alarm going off with nobody doing anything. To be honest there isn't a huge amount to do, but I would recommend hiking around Medora, camping there, and seeing the musical.
Tried to help some people get apartments there, it was crazy. The deposit was the same as first months rent and you pretty much had to have $2500 out of pocket right away just to find a place to live.
