Hello all,
I am turning my old desktop pc (a core2 duo) into a media PC for the living room. Anyone have suggestions for remotes? I definitely want a qwerty(ish) keyboard. I don't want to spend a lot on it at this point (arbitrarily, under $40 USD shipped), but I don't want a piece of complete crap either. Right now, looking at something like this:

I would go for a blutooth flexible keyboard, because they are cheap and mainly because it would take the curve or shape of the sofa arm when you resit it on there

Interesting, but it looks like this would be hard to type on without a firm surface? or at least some surface (i.e., you couldn't hold this in your hands and type)?
I also want to stay close to game controller / remote control -sized.

I did this one as it's higher quality but it's harder to find now. (don't use airmouse on any of them)
@dwn, is it a higher build quality? or just the extra features?
I want something durable. But I don't need stuff like earphone jack/ mic/ etc.. The backlit keypad looks nice though.
I don't need the extra features either but the backlit keys were a must. The key layout is better and the pads are better. They are all cheap devices from China so you take what you can get for <$40 compared to stuff like Logitech $$$. If you run an OS with voice to text the i28 works well for that feature.
