you dont need a mechanical keyboard.

What do you like in a keyboard? do you like a clicky sounding keys, easy to press with no click? Need to know what you like in one before we can really recomend one.
Clicky, tactile, firm. Similar to a BlackWidow, but a lot cheaper

They are great for the price if you want cheap with decent quality.
personally i use these http://www.yurbuds.com/en/behind-the-ear/47focus-100.html#/color-black with any good mic. you will get better sound if you go with headphones and a separate mic. i like ear buds but thats just my thing.
i use a corsair k70 for a keyboard, i'd say its worth a look
Anyone that says you don't need a mechanical keyboard just can't afford/justify spending the money. They are one of the best things you can buy to improve the user experience in my opinion and I think others would agree.
