But if you are limited to $700 than the build above will be great.

Well i also need to pay for a monitor and an op system.. You've helped a lot though thx

Can anyone improve on this? (price wise)

EDIT: Made case and MoBo compatible http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GS6r

Even though you have a smaller resolution monitor in there of only 1366x768, i think that 7850 is a perfect match, and Vram will not an issue for you for a long while...

If i found a 1920x1080 monitor for near that price, i would say it will be lower quality, and will waste the potential of that GPU...

That monitor and GPU is a nice combo imo :)

If you want to shave off a good chunk of cash, download Windows 7 by other means...... but do remember, there is always a risk with this method, and i do not support piracy in any way, but it is a suggestion (i have been there when money is very tight).

http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/monitor/#r=192001080 which monitor did u have in mind?

You don't need to pay for an operating system. All versions of windows 7 are readily available for download for free  as an iso file.(not just on torrents) Then just burn it on a usb drive and install it that way.  And there are safe methods of activateing it without having a valid key.

Thank you!

got it down to $790. any way i could maybe shave down the cost on the video card for about the same performance? also would i need a sound card?

No need for a sound card.

Performance near the 7850? that would be a GTX 570/480 or Radeon 6970/6950 which either cost more, or will not run on that PSU..

ok thanks a lot. Will there be any need for me to purchase cords for the pc?

Thats the best i could squeez out of your budget, heres my breakdown of what i changed

Changed the Vid card to a GTX 660 because it will be faster than a 7850 1GB

Choose the Gaia CPU cooler because it is about as good as a Hyper 212 EVO at a lower price

Had to switch out the ram because either cooler didnt have enough clearence (the kingston is also cheaper)

Changed the case to a sturdier more reliable one with more options than the other one

Put in a Higher Quality PSU compared to that Antec because the more reliable/effecient the PSU the better.

And finally i got you a 22" LG monitor because its better than the Acer (dynamic contrast and colours) and its slightly bigger.
