WARNING: THIS THREAD MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!
So Bioware/EA has released the longwaited DLC for Mass Effect 3. This 'new' ending has not rewritten the old one, but added more content to the original ending.
If you own Mass Effect 3 you can download the DLC for free through the Origin game client. Just load a (autosaved) game right before the (SPOILER) attack on the Illusive Mans spacestation (/SPOILER) and play from there. There is like 3-4 hours gameplay to the ending.
SO! What do you think of the updated ending?
I am very interested in seeing what they've done with it. The problem here lies in the fact that I would have to download Origin again...then after I'm done I'd have to re-format my hard drive and reinstall Windows lol. I am interested. I'll keep this bookmarked, if the replies are positive than I will consider Origin for a play through again. Wasn't too bad, consolized but I love the sci-fi setting.
You will be surprised over the extra content! So many loose ends and holes are being filled and each of the 3 (there is a 4th ending too LOL) differs from one another. Now they make much more sense. Still, some fans are disappointed and too many are binded to the so called "Indoctrination Theory" (which is cool, but not what Bioware had planned). It's hard for some people to let go of the Mass Effect universe, and I guess some people would have prefered Mass Effect 3 with multiple endings, that you build up during the game like Fallout: New Vegas. Oh well, not everyone can have it their way. They just need to accept it :)
