Many PC builds on the way!

I have two friends who want me to buy and build them PCs before the holidays, so the fun begins now. Both are going to be around the 1000 dollar mark, one slightly over, and one slightly under. This is what I have pieced together so far, any better options?

Already made an adjustment..

Add in an aftermarket cooler. A Hyper 212 Evo will allow for a bit of overclocking.

I'd go with windows 8.1 as well. I got used to using it in a couple of days and it's faster than Windows 7.

This power supply is better at that price http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-120g10750xr

Thanks ! I am fighting between that evga psu or the corsair cx 600w, because its 55 bucks through ncix, semi modular, and still 80+ certified..

Windows 7 was not my choice it was theirs, but I am trying to convince them to go for 8 as it can be made to feel identical via start button addon.

In terms of the cpu cooler, I am stuck between the 212 evo and a noctua cooler, just because I have heard so many good things about them. What do you think?

If the budget can strech, then go with the Noctua. Quieter and better performance. Which model would you go for?

Dude.

Enough said.

I don't recommend the EVGA SuperNOVA NEX due to mediocre ripple suppression and pretty bad voltage drooping.

This is in fact NOT DONE.  Plenty of flaws with this build - some of which are critical.
