Just did a update and the kernal updated as well, now all my windows are missing the top bar title bar, what ever you call the bar with the minimize maximixe and close windows
Manjaro xfce4 with compix kernel 4.4.15.3 if you need more info just ask. It they need terminal commands could you please add those to the request thanks.
the window manager in manjaro crashed. do you know which window manager you are using sir?
Sorry I do not know which window manager I am using, I am thinking it is Compiz
can you install packages right now?
Yes, I just downloaded and installed an icon theme.
Open up a terminal command window then type,
install that package
then type
then type
Take a Screenshot of your terminal after that and post it, it will tell me everything about your system.
Your terminal should look somewhat similar to this..

into the terminal and see if that fixes it. the window manager probably isn't launching.
The title bar is back, but the three icons in the upper right corner the minimize max and close
The bar part with file edit and view is there
When I grab the bar and try to move it , it will not move
in session and startup compiz was not cheched
I checked the box and restarted
still the same problem as above
when i opened up the settings window there was no top bar, but the double clicking on home i get a bar but is the one without the min max close and it will not grab and move.
try running
in the terminal see if the plugins are enabled.
yeah the plugins aren't enabled. compiz as windows manager runs strictly on plugins to get it's functionality. check that Windows Management tab within the compiz settings and check if there are settings to enable the functionality you are missing.

Did some more looking, I most likely do not know what I am looking for.

Compiz-xfce autostart setup is the one i check that i mentioned in the above post and restrarted will not stay checked
Do not no if this is a proper fix, but I installed emerald for Manjaro and I have my top bar back and it can be set to what ever I need.
Was just wondering how to make the min max and close buttons bigger.

Emerald is just a decorator for compiz. Though good thing it fixed it. Which is strange cause it's not supposed to.

In that menu where you can choose which apps. Make one for comiz and when it says terminal command type in,
I added the the compiz replace to startup menu and the problem is still there.
Did a restart and the windows do not have a top bar.
when I downloaded emerald for Manjaro it gave me a Icon on my task bar that allows me to Reload Windows Manager , and that fixes the problem.
How do I make it so it works on restart.
