When I am in a “playing phase” (I’ve taken many of long hiatus from Magic, started playing 3rd edition) its hard to resist buying up a ton to “get caught up” with new expansions. And also buying more and more cards to stay competitive but I have good luck resisting that urge over the years. Damn it gets expensive. I am in a spot in my life that new cards are too much of a luxury, I cannot afford… So I hear you there.
