After watching the trailer, this game went for me went from: I don't know about this to I should watch and see how this plays outs. I will not preorder. The same people who made Just Cause 1 and 2 are making the game.
What do you guy think? Are you interested in this game?
jesus
Trailer emphasis on vehicle/equipment unlockables: there's going to be tons of day one DLC, store exclusive DLC, preorder DLC, etc.
Also nice fighting system, the other guys just stand around while you beat up their buddy.
Meh, maybe I'm just cynical.
@wkpsfbx Clearly. You are being cynical.
While it does appear there is preorder DLC: One The Ripper!, an additional fully upgradeable Magnum Opus Car Body. All preorders from all stores get this. I have not seen anything about other types of DLC. Maybe they will go the Shadows of Mordor route and have Texture Upgrade DLC or Free Skin DLC. The facts remain that we don't know anything about the other type of DLC for this game. It comes out September 1. I checked Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Gamestop and there is no exclusive preorder dlc to those stores. I expect we may see and learn more about this game at E3 in June.
@tabakisp It's based on the Mad Max series as a whole. The game was announced in 2013: http://www.polygon.com/2013/6/12/4420854/mad-max-avalanche-studios-game-e3
I'm not sure how much the game is based on the new movie but it is based on the series, so we will see what it takes from it.
@wolfleben Not sure what is the exact order but the game's plot might be from the whole mad max storyline, but there are certain visuals appearing only on this movie and the game's gfx are similar to the movie's.
what engine is it running on?
