i have a mac monitor with three male connectors on wires in the monitor. it has displayport, some kind of mac connector, and a usb port. i tried hooking the usb port up to the back of my motherboard, but it didnt work. so if i were to buy a gpu with female mini displayport, would i be able to plug my minidisplayport connector right into my gpu? or would i need some kind of adapter because its mac.
note: i know its a mini displayport because it doesnt have the lightning bolt
