My friend gave me a broken mac mini in the hopes that i could fix it but so far i have been stumped.
On one boot i went to the password screen but diffident accept any inputs and on all following boots wont even output to the display at all.
I always hear the boot sound of the mac but nothing more. I was wondering if i could fix this at all or is there a way to get into the bios so i can boot from a USB stick even though i cant see any display?
Update i can see it on my router i think it might just be a display issue
What model of mac mini by chance?

So thunderbolt or dvi?
It doesn't have a BIOS. 2010 and back macs use EFI. To get to a boot screen hold ALT/Option and you'll get a listing of everything. Obvioulsy you'll need to fix this display issue first.

If you have the tome , dig for schematics. Apple never puts them out so it will be a digging indeed.
