Just wondering where to get the Mac keyboard drivers for Linux. By that I mean the backlight control. It’s flat out not there/functional. Wondering if there’s Terminal commands to download them, etc…

Honestly, Mac hardware support is iffy because they intently break support with other Unix-like systems. You may need to pull the driver from Darwin. Otherwise, libinput should be able to handle the quirks.
There is no official repo if that is what you are asking. But you should be running at least a modern kernel or the current LTS kernel. Provide more information and someone may be able to help you. like lsusb -v, lsmod -v and etc.
