IDK if they're that big, but just a thing that came in my inbox just now.
Shrugs, I never allowed MS to have my email address :)
I'm not exactly sure HOW they got this one.... I gave them my ancient one that I don't care about anymore.
There is a trail somewhere. I get lost in mine. Circles within circles. Even stuff i have forgotten about.
Most of this makes sense, especially the signing into an Xbox every five years. This means they can save "data" by deleting old, unused accounts. Google has a similar policy (though you don't have to activate it). The school email/account, too, makes sense. Those are enterprise accounts so obviously it's a different department than the regular MS account.
None of this seems like a conspiracy, just normal corporate policy changes
Got a notification regarding Skype aswell. Nothing new, just average stuff.
Still worth looking through the extended notes. I'll have to look later as I don't have time ATM
Also I find it funny how my most trusted machines are my Pentium M, a shitty netbook, a celeron on AROS, and a hackintosh. I don't trust my desktop anymore lol
I am still wishing I hadn't made a live account although the account was 5 years ago, cause now I have issues with my email (TekSyndicate mentioned it on their last Tek show) and I have to wait a month to change my password, cause that's how Microshaft operates, with another semester of classes starting soon, I am going to have a very hard time changing my Email to something else completely, where is a good website to create a new Email account?
inbox.com ?
"We're sorry, new registrations will not be available for an extended period of time. Inbox.com webmail is currently being prepared for a major system upgrade and therefore all new registrations have been stopped. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience."
I guess that isn't happening just yet, any others maybe, I don't think Google Email would be any better, not by a lot.
For some reason they sent it to me in French.
I am using Protonmail atm for somethings.
