M.2 Hardware question

I ordered this MOBO from newegg.

But I'm having trouble figuring out which m.2 drive I can plug into the onboard M.2 MOBO slot.

I would like to use it as a boot device as my C drive.

Does this motherboard support an NVME drive in the M.2 slot or even the ability to boot from it or just the SATA protocol based M.2 drives.
I was looking at ordering this drive in particular.

I just want to make sure ill get the best performance I can out of the drive and slot.

Thanks!

It says NVMe. If you can't boot from m.2 tthen hrow a molotov into gigabytes hq.

Ahh that's so embarrassing, I don't know how I missed that. I even downloaded the manual and didn't see it mention NVME.
Thanks

UEFI support for booting from a M.2 drive was certainly a valid concern 2 years ago, when I built my last machine, but I have to believe that any mobo of recent manufacture should support this. To be on the safe side, be sure to blow the latest UEFI patch into it, before you get in too deep.
