Any tricks to get keyboards working with the level 1 KVM?
I have three keyboards, two with RGB and one without. The RGB ones work over usb3, but not over the HID ports. Specifically when using HID, they just flash the RGB on and off.
Will some keyboards just not work?
Made some progress.
Updated the firmware on the keyboard and now its partially working. Typing works fine, but switching between pcs with the hotkeys causes two beeps (using ctrl-ctrl-n). I didn’t see anything in the user manual regarding more than one.
For reference my keyboard is using KLL
From your description sounds like keyboard wasn’t compatible with standard, and firmware update partially fixed that.
As for KVM itself you could ask “@” Wendell directly, seems like he made the thing, so probably knows some things about it
