Low end Intel i5 vs high end i3

Hello!

So my question is which one is better, high end Intel i3 or low end i5. Could someone bring out the main differences and give some advice which one to choose. :)

Depends on your needs, and which i5 you talk about.

But basicly an i5 will be better in allmost everything.

highend i3 is still a dualcore with HT. on which an I5 is still a Quadcore. makes sense with heavier workloads.

So my advice lowend i5 over i3. anytime.

Well for the price of an i3 or low i5 you can get the 8320 witch blows the i3 out of the water and is a good contender aggainst the i5's and i7's

If you already have a mobo , buy a second hand i5 , more physical cores is always better.

i5, all the way. Depending on what you are playing(or want to play) the 8320 may be a better buy. It can be had for as low as $130 and sometimes $120 at microcenter.  Or the 6300 for $100

I  mean I have watched Intel i3-4630 vs i5-4460. But since I would like the processor have as much power as possible i think i'm going for i5...
Anyways if someone can provide me some more info or links about these two(or even personal expiriences) I would be so happy!
