I'm looking for 2 120mm fans and 3 140mm fans to replace my loud stock fans. Preferably NO LED's. Also, where can I buy some foam made for putting inside my PC case? I'm trying to completely silence this bad boy.
noctua S12A-FLX with NF-F14 FLX. They are expensive and the colour can be offputting but they are the best performing quiet fans on the market.
I prefer these for case fans more than anything else right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007998+50012151+600035655&QksAutoSuggestion=&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&Configurator=&IsNodeId=1&Subcategory=573&description=&hisInDesc=&Ntk=&CFG=&SpeTabStoreType=&AdvancedSearch=1&srchInDesc=
A lot people swear by Silverstone Air Penetraters. They are 11 bucks on Newegg and sport the best db levels for the price (42cfm@19db). I run them off my Fractal fan controller and they undervolt well with little noise. They push plenty of air and are directional so they really push the air into the case. I can feel the force of my front fan at the back of the case.
I'll have a look at those. Thanks!
Definitely Noctua NF-F12s if you want the best fans possible. People love them so much, they have gone as far as to dye them black, blue, etc. so that they match their build; they are that well performing. You might want to look at some Corsair SP120mm fans for heatsinks/raditators and Corsair AF120 and 140mm fans for your case.
If those are the Noctua's I'm thinking of then those things are fugly haha. But I really don't mind too much, my case has no window and I rarely open it anyway. I prefer a minimalist type design in everything. Even though they're so ugly I'm considering grabbing a few.
