KVM Model:
DP 1.4 2 in, 1 out
USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):
10-gigbit
Problem:
I have a minor annoyance with a ZSA Voyager split ergo keyboard. It’s a QMK based board configurable with a custom web-based gui, ORYX. The keyboard works fine whether I plug into the USB 3 port or the HID port on the KVM. I have 2 separate problems, I can only flash new firmware to the board when it’s plugged into the USB 3 port. If the board is plugged into the HID port on the KVM I cannot flash it, the bootloader does not recognize the board when connected to the HID port, I must switch it to the USB port then it recognizes and I can flash it. I’d happily keep it connected to the USB port if the hotkey functionality worked. Unfortunately the KVM hotkeys only work when the board is connected to the HID port and I have a couple of macros defined on the Voyager that allow me to switch with one key press so I don’t want to lose that functionality. I don’t flash the board often but I was curious why or if there is a workaround to the hotkey issue so it would work when the board is connected to the USB port since the keyboard works fine otherwise when connected to USB on the KVM.
