Looking to jump into Linux

Oh no, it was simply a misunderstanding. There's no strife. In fact, this subject is far from warranting a full on emotional argument :P. I was advocating for you to start at the command-line because I started at the command-line and still learning every day.

Seeing as though it seems to be mostly me who did the misunderstanding, I wish to apologize, And good luck to your future Linux endeavors.

OK guys I'm back with a few questions before my Head officially EXPLODES!

So based on what was advised above and the video reviews I've seen, I decided to settle in on Mint.

However there seems to be 3 or 4 different flavors of Mint. Which one is the MOST Newbie friendly version.

1. MATE

2. Cinnamon

3. KDE

4. Xfce

Please guys help me, because I think I'm about to shoot blood out of my nose here in a few!
