Looking to buy the X-Star DP2710 or Qnix QX2710

I've been leaning towards the X-Star DP2710 that Logan just reviewed, but I'm also interested in the Qnix QX2710. Is one if these better than the other or are they the same.

My video card has a DL/DVI-I and SL/DVI-D will these work with either monitor?

these monitors are exactly the same just make sure to get the 8 bit non multi for overclocking

I would say the X-Star. The monitors are somewhat similar, but the backlight bleed on the Qnix was pretty bad on the one I had. The colors are also way better.

I will assume the X-Star is going to work with the DVI outputs I listed?? I'm not to worried about oc'ing the monitor at the moment. I have a Power color 270x DEVIL and I doubt it will get over 60 fps in many games, if it does I will be presently surprised. In a few months I may snag a used 280x off eBay and oc the monitor to 75 or 96hz if need be.

After getting the Qnix QX2710 1440p I did some gaming to see what my 270X DEVIL would handle. So far most of the games I play the 270X DEVIL at 1440p does fine. Some games I need to turn off AA but its not really needed with 1440p anyway. I mostly play Warframe, with v-sync off I get 91-112fps. I have the monitor overclocked at a conservative 75hz. I was able to get it up to 96hz without dropping frames.  No need for a 280, I'm gonna wait till the R9 300 and GTX800 series come out.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in on your thread here, but saves starting another on a similar topic.

Does anyone know of any way to get these monitors in the UK? Dream-Seller doesn't ship to here, so I'm stuck from that perspective.

I got mine from Newegg via MNW Global $289. Call Newegg Support and ask if you buy one if it can be shipped to the UK.

Thanks. I'll check that out.
