Looking to build my first PC

Hey there guys, I've been looking to to build my first PC, as I've been wanting to do it for a very long time. I will be using it for gaming to play the STALKER series modded, company of heroes 2, BF4 and many others! I have a decent knowledge of computer "terms", as much as the internet was able to teach me. I have comprised a list of parts that I would like to use and I am asking you guys the community, to either tell me what I am missing if anything and if I should consider other parts. The price right now of my build is floating around 1000 dollars and for me that is perfect. I would also like to say that I do not need a monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse. I am using the hard drive from my old computer (2TB) that has windows 7 64 bit on it. Here is the link to my PC part picker (hopefully I did it correctly). If you need any more info please ask.

You can try to find a 280x for a decent price but they are hard to find right now

With a few tweaks, I was able to include a 780, which would be even better than the 770 or 280x:

Are all the parts that I've chosen compatible with each other??

Nice!

Yes, but I do prefer m33b's build better.

Re-post of M33B's build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2F8q6

hmmm I preferred to use the rosewill PSU as I wanted the platinum certified. Modular or not really does not mean much to me. Also, why not go for the 8350 and the 2133 mhz ram?

With the savings from various parts of the build, he was able to fit in a much, much stronger GPU.

The FX-8320 is essentially a slower 8350.  Most chips will able to overclock to 8350 speeds just fine.

2133mhz RAM doesn't really help in games.  In fact, people usually see differences which end up being in the "margin of error".  Most of the heavy lifting is on the dedicated graphics card when you have one.  The only times you should need higher clocked memory is if you do lots of video rendering or are using integrated graphics.

Ok thank you very much! I will take all of this into consideration and come back with an answer, have a good night.
