I do have a few questions, like what case should I get and whether or not I should get a separate power supply. As well as which speakers to get for a family room setting. My parents want surround sound and I don't know if the Logitech speakers are wireless or not, but I think they'd prefer wireless.
Budget is 200-300 bucks, seeing as the hardware costs around 200 and we need to get speakers.
your going to need to get a gpu for that build because the amd fx 6350 dosn't have intigrated graphcis. The one issue with that case is the psu dosnt have a lot of over head and with a gpu it will have even less. I would suggest a case like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163257&cm_re=htpc_case-_-11-163-257-_-Product A power supply like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139049&cm_re=430w_power_supply-_-17-139-049-_-Product You also have to remember that that blue ray drive isn't going to play blu rays right of the bat you will need the software to go with it and alot of those oem drieves don't come with software. As for the speakers I wouldn't go logitech there computer speakers and not ment for a home theatre environment. The lowest quality 5.1 system I could recommend would be something like this.
That of corse don’t come with the receiver which you will need to buy separately to power the system. Somthing else you could do which I'm doing right now and it sounds pretty good is buy a 2.1 system and expand out. You could do somthing like this. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=8250
Then buy speakers wire to connect it. Then when you have the money buy a good receiver and start upgrading the speakers or expanding out to 5.1
