Kinda sick of my providers BS so im looking into just buying a nice unlocked cell phone. Thoughts on good phones for less then 300$ and any information on this that would be good to know.

Get a Nexus 4. There's nothing even close to it in terms of value.
Yes, nexus 4. But if you can wait..... Nexus 5.... rumour is that its coming around 3 months. Means you have the option to get the nexus 5, or the now cheaper nexus 4. But if you cant wait... Nexus 4 is the way to go.
