I’m having the same issue with the error
kvmfr: kvmfr_pci_probe: failed to remap pages! ret = -22
Can you please elaborate on the “set the CPU host max physical bits in QEMU to limit the upper address range” ? I guess you’re referring to the host-phys-bits-limit=bits option as explained here: physical address space in qemu | 🇺🇦 kraxel’s news , but which value should I set?
In my system I have, both on the host and in the VM guest the following:
Address sizes: 52 bits physical, 57 bits virtual
qemu 9.2, kernel 6.11.0-19-generic, Ubuntu
