I have approval from our CEO to get whatever hardware solution (outside of a new laptop or VM) to get my work laptop hooked up to my own personal setup. Everyone else is somehow okay with 2x 23" monitors company wide so its unknown territory for them.
Would want to get output to my 3840x1600 monitor and my 1440p monitor. My third side monitor (1440p) could be nice, but honestly I might enjoy leaving that flipped on my personal PC so not a big loss.
Using the HP USB-C G5 Dock I only seem to be able to output two 1440p signals. Google said that it might be a BIOS flag change that will fix this, and if so I can just purchase a level 1 KVM. I will be at corporate and can test this in 2 weeks with IT.
I read one vague thread on the HP thunderbolt dock which might support this, or dock plus KVM, but really not sure how to check.
Thanks!
