I'm looking to replace my AMD FX 6300 for something from intel. My budget is $350, any suggestions?
I just purchased an i7 4790K and it is overclocked to 4.7GHz. I'm happy with it.
He needs a motherboard to go with it as well since hes on AMD.
@Macaque I would suggest getting an i5 4460 and a h97 motherboard which should fit your budget if you are in America.
Again, if you're in the States, you might be able to squeeze in an i5-4690K and a Z97 motherboard.
