I recently got my hands on a printer server and I was wondering what I could do with it, besides well print things.
What is the brand/model number?
HP print server appliance 4250
I got nothing, can't find good enough specs beyond 100mbps transfer rate.
I found some specs
- 160-320gb of raid capable storage
- Supports failover/redundancy
- 3GHz, 1gb ram, 10/100/1000
- Fully manageable via EWS or MS tools
If you have the know how I am sure with a bit of hacking you could get some sort of Linux or Unix on there, but that would require knowledge of j-tagging and what kind of hardware is inside.
