Looking for software suggestions

Does anyone know of a Linux version of Auto Desk Revit,Possibly a comparable alternative?
I should note that I’m currently running Elementary OS and If there is no alternative it is fine I will just use Windows.

FreeCAD works for me. Is available for Windows and Linux (iirc).

Some reading material:

@MazeFrame
Will it work with BIM?

I don´t know. I just use it for basic stuff.

AFAIK There is nothing like Revit on linux. All alternatives are going to work more like AutoCAD than Revit. Wine might be able to help you install Revit on linux but last I checked it refused to install. You would likely need in depth knowledge of wine to even come close to getting it running.

Your best bet is through virtualization, which at that point I would just go ahead and dual boot.

@Adubs That is honestly what I thought would be the case.
Looks like i will be going back to Windows.
