Rosewill decided to send a CD w/ drivers and does not have online, I have not had an optical drive in a long long time. A google search has found me nothing thus far. Really would rather not buy a drive, any ideas?
Proxmox recognizes the NIC as a 1G so its not useless but sub-optimal at the moment.
Is that the only 2.5Gb/s piece of hardware on your network? If it is it will only run at 1Gb/s. If your router/switch or whatever you’re connected to doesn’t support 2.5Gb/s it won’t work, also make sure your ethernet cable is atleast cat 5e.
Ended up having to update the kernel. After that I was able to use the Realtek 2.5GB drivers and we’re up and running.
Running cat6 and a Netgear MS510TX so should be good! Just an FYI for anyone in same boat.
