I’m looking to purchase a modestly equipped netbook for up to $300. I want the netbook to have a wireless card capable of promiscuous mode/packet injection. I would like it to have at least a third generation Intel chipset. I would like it to have a nice keyboard.
I’m thinking of either a Lenovo Thinkpad or Dell Lattitude series device. Any advice is much appreciated, thanks!
I think that what you can find right now that resambles a netbook is a tablet with an Atom CPU and Windows. There are soo many ones with Atom 3537F and 2GB of ram that I don't know what model to direct you to. Maybe you can even get one with the new Atom CPU inside for 300$. Even a Raspberry with a good wifi adapter is able to do such thing so, just go for the best bang for the buck thing you can find.
