I am looking for an inexpensive mechanical keyboard. I don't mind if it's a $20, $40 keyboard, but I don't want to go too high. (I have really good luck with cheap things).
I was browsing newegg and all of these keyboards have different "switches". I have no idea what they do, lol.
If someone can point me in a good direction that would be great.
The websites I order off of are strictly newegg, ncix, and tigerdirect.
I find blue switches the best although they are the loudest (wouldn't recommend if you are close to bedrooms and like late night gaming) I've only tried reds, blacks and blues but out of those I prefer Blues as I find typing on them the fastest.
There's not many mechanical keyboards under $80. These are the good ones I could find on Newegg might be worth looking up reviews for them though.
I like this keyboard, it may not have a million macro keys or some crazy design, but it has a very clean, simplistic look, with good great build quality and overall very well made keyboard. No backlighting though :c
You'll need to research the different switches to figure out which one you like best, but here's a good keyboard that has Cherry MX Blues. It's right at your budget too.
